The rooms are old and the carpet is dirty. The beds are completely uncomfortable with bad mattress.

The room and location were great!! The service was above what I had expected. While this may seem odd, I appreciate the uniforms of the staff the great jean jackets allowed the staff to be more approachable and in sync with the hotel environment. The hotel felt safe and was near some really good restaurants and bars!! This property would likely become our go-to for NYC visits.

The bar closed at 11:30, which we felt was a bit early for the area. Other than that it was great.

Location, relatively large room well soundproofed.
Negatives:
Water was pouring out of the shower onto the entire bathroom. It was uncontrollable. No mineral water in the room.
I don't know if I wasn't cheated on my payment. We will see when the hotel will return my deposit and in what amount.
