Positives:
AC locked at low temperature. Bed cover extremely thin. I had to sleep with my trenchcoat on and two long bath towels over the thin cover. And it was still very uncomfortable. The mattress was rigid. No extra couverture available. I never had this problems in any hotels, in fact much cheaper than yours

Location was very convenient to Times Square, Hell's Kitchen and Midtown West
Negatives:
Room was very bare bones, a concrete box with not so much as a water heater for coffee in the morning. It's basic at best for when you're trying to save some money staying near Midtown. At least the hotel seemed safe and secure, but no sprawling lobby or anything, and you have to request cleaning service each day.

The room is carpeted which is not great, but it seemed clean.

Excellent location, close to metro.
Negatives:
The room was tiny, not something unexpected as the size was already mentioned online but fitting and daily using two suitcases proved to be quite challenging.
Nevertheless, we managed.
Overall though, the room is overpriced, you clearly pay extra for location.
