Everyone we interacted with was great, friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Of course the location is excellent.
The housekeeping staff is doing a great job and super friendly. The doormen are very attentive, professional and talkative. Desk staff always say hello, offer to help and are quite friendly. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the daily service. For the staff, 5 Stars!
Negatives:
As a manager in a "boutique" hotel in a resort town myself, I see everything. As happens too many times in the industry, the design of the inside is too much (lobby and room). Design opinion aside, the room was a bit rough. frayed carpet, broken panel on the air handler. Poor choice and design of the shower fixtures (you'll find out the hard way). Glass vanity and steel sink just looks dirty/messy (not the fault of the HK staff). The silly design of the unusable fireplace didn't help, and there was some strange spikey thing mounted to the front of it and I would almost consider it a safety hazard. No coffee or kettle or drinking glasses in the room. None of these comments are a reflection of the staff in my opinion. Too bad the lobby bar isn't open but that is a sign of the times.

Positives:
We found all the facilities that we expected. We were allocated 2 rooms next to each other as requested. Very confortable bed. Very quiet despite being so central. Nice staff.
Negatives:
Some features in the rooms were a bit old or broken. Nothing that really affected the quality of our stay

First the Amazing Welcome from Maria and manager Gabriel at the check in! Second, the entrance decoration, very different w/ metal elements and a huge fireplace. Last surprise was the size of the room I was in. I could stay there for another 10 days easily :-))

Positives:
Personnel working at the reception counter were very helpful. Special thanks to them for finding the lost eyeglasses of my wife. The location is very good also.
Negatives:
The insides look very tired. It felt depressing to be there.
