Negatives: We had issues at check-in as the second person's name was added to the room the night before, however this did not show up in their system, so she had to wait for about an hour before I was able to call (I was on a flight). Room was cold, esp in bathroom

Positives: It was a smaller more intimate and very personable hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in every way. The restaurant was excellent. The room was large and very comfortable. I felt secure also.
Negatives: I loved this hotel and would make this a first choice coming to New York. The only very minor complaint I had was there was a bit of stain on the carpet and the woodwork around the bed was a little dusty.

Positives: big rooms, welcoming good service and they allowed a free 5pm late check out which was nice and helpfull.
Negatives: lobby, to the extent there is one, small and not too welcoming, i like lobby service and atmosphere which was a bit missing to my taste.

Positives: Hotel was trendy, rooms were great, bathroom products excellent. The hotel bar was awesome with good drinks and a dollar oyster happy hour deal.
Negatives: Staff was a little slow to bring things up after calling concierge.
