About This Property
This hotel, in a high-rise building overlooking the Niagara River, features a year-round indoor pool and fitness center. Relax by the river in our outdoor seating and/or eating at our restaurant patio. The Falls are 4.6 miles/7.4 K away. $10 + tax daily parking fee applies. Guests of the Niagara Riverside Resort; BW Premier Collection will find a flat-screen cable TV, mini-refrigerator and a coffee/tea maker in all guest rooms. Daily housekeeping on request, see desk. Free WiFi is offered. A $100 security deposit will be held per room to allow guest to use our full service restaurant & bar; available breakfast, lunch, and dinner and on site mini store. We love our rooms being cold, and that was the ONLY good thing that actually came out of the stay that we liked.
Negatives:
When we arrived, the lady who checked us in was very quiet and didn’t seem happy to help us. She seemed like she couldn’t care any less. As we were checking in, she stated parking was $10 PER night. This was NOT mentioned in the memo about the hotel AND the extra $100 fee which is on top of the hotel total incase of any damages. This was already a disappointment.
Next, when going up to the room we had noticed that when the door closed, it never latched from the outside. We immediately had to have someone come fix that. While they were doing that, I had noticed numerous scratches/scrapes with the room on the furniture, AC unit, and even duck tape on the carpet to “fix” the problem. When bringing this up to the front desk (I believe manager at this point) she just stated she’d put in a note for our reservation to make sure we don’t get charged. At one point, we went over to the pool but turned right back around due to the pool being cold and super cloudy with random little things floating. It looks like no one has been taken care of the pool itself. The hallway to the pool room was also very poor as the flooring was slowly coming apart. In the whole hotel but mostly the pool room, we seen MANY spider webs and spiders.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We only stayed for 2 nights, but even thought about sleeping in the car due to how this place was. PLEASE KEEP ALL OF THIS IN MIND IF YOU BOOK ANY NIGHT HERE.
