It was one of the worst hotel experiences to date. They raised their price drastically for the eclipse day. I expected a 3 star hotel experience but it felt more like a motel 6. Hotel is outdated including all the furnishings. There were grout stains in bathroom. The remote control and the electrical outlet next to bed did not work. The fan turned on automatically when you turn on the bathroom lights. It seemed broken or just old because it was extremely loud. Our room was near the pool and smelled like chlorine and mold. Not to mention screaming kids till 11pm. Very upsetting that they charged 5 times their normal standard rate for this one day.
