Negatives: This hotel listed airport shuttle as one of its amenities. As an airline employee, the availability of a shuttle is crucial to my decision on which hotel to pick. The net result was an extra $40 tacked on to my commuting expenses.

Positives: The staff was warm and friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
Negatives: The area of Jamaica, NY where it is located isn't the greatest and the local street signs were confusing. It is located in a very commercial neighborhood.

Being former New Yorkers now living in Florida we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and courteous staff from the registration desk to the housekeeping staff. Everyone we encountered were warm and inviting.
