Positives: Was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive.
Negatives: There were no towels in the room , and there was no place to put the towels even if/when they are there. The curtains were broken and don't go up so it was dark at all times (no natural light). Also they had Xmas decorations, but no menorah or any representation of the Jewish holiday. this location is by Binghamton which is 30% Jewish so lots of Jewish families staying there.

Negatives: I recently stayed at a hotel in Vestal, NY, and was highly disappointed with my experience. I arrived on November 5th expecting a reservation from the 5th to the 12th, only to be told at the front desk that my booking was only from the 6th to the 12th. The front desk associate was unhelpful and directed me to speak with the on-duty manager, who was not only rude but also insisted I pay an additional fee for the night of the 6th—despite already having paid in advance. Neither the manager nor the other front desk staff made any effort to accommodate my situation or resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was met with disrespectful comments and a lack of assistance. Throughout my stay, I felt unwelcome and discriminated against, which was deeply unsettling, especially being so far from home. To make matters worse, there was no housekeeping service provided—no fresh towels or toiletries for the entire week. The breakfast offered was repetitive and lacked variety. I even had to check out after the extra night, only to sit in my rental car until I could recheck the following day, which was incredibly inconvenient. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be returning. I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment and will be choosing the Hilton Garden Inn across the street for any future visits.
