Although the hotel's pool was mentioned as an amenity at check- in, it was only open during the afternoon (an unlikely time for usage by one-night stayers). Apparently closure later in the day is due to a Yonkers law that prohibits usage without a lifeguard on duty. If the hotel cannot find or afford an evening lifeguard, it shouldn't emphasize the pool at check-in after a lifeguard is no longer available.

Beautiful room. Very spacious

There was a family there that took over the entire patio and pool. And half them weren’t even staying at the hotel. Didn’t get to go to the pool because of how full it was. Went on the patio when some of them emptied out but those there were smoking and I have a baby. But the property is supposed to be smoke free. Staff did nothing to stop them. Fire pit had blunt butts in it. And even closed the pool at 7 PM and opened it at 10 AM when the Plaque outside of the pool says 7 AM to 10 PM daily. They closed it early because of the kids in that family being in the pool all day. Oh and I found an ant in the kitchen so there’s that too.

Really enjoyed our stay
Positives:
We stayed here for about a week. It was great to have a full kitchen. Lots of on-site parking. Near to shopping and restaurants if you have a vehicle. The staff was quite friendly and polite.
Negatives:
It took a long time to check-in and get my keys even though I checked in on the app before I got to the hotel. I would have skipped including the breakfast with my reservation if that was an option as the offerings were of low quality.
There was painting and construction going on outside our room which no one mentioned was going to happen. The pool was only open from noon to 5:00PM, even during the sweltering summer days. I think they could have extended the hours.
