The Econo Lodge hotel is located, just south of Interstate 40. This hotel provides easy access to Elon University, and many of the area's shopping facilities including Burlington Square Mall and Burlington Manufacturer's Outlet Center (BMOC), home to numerous factory outlet and designer stores. Offering fun for the whole family, the Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe water park is 20 miles from the hotel. The nearby Alamance Battleground features historical structures, outdoor monuments and a visitor center to educate visitors on the 1771 battle that took place on site. The city of Burlington features walking tours of its historic district, a number of city parks and several lakes offering a place for boating, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges can be found around town, including several near the hotel. There were bugs in our room. The smell was not good and the shower was dirty. The whole room was actually dirty I had to sanitize to feel safe eating with my kids and the beds were not comfy the blankets made us itchy. I would have left and went somewhere else but I could not be refunded which really sucked.

Honestly I didn’t like anything. The only good thing is that the hot water worked.

I’m not going to put them on blast and post the pictures but the room looks nothing as portrayed online. The room was dirty and though I accidentally booked a smoking room I was not expecting the comforter to have multiple burn holes. After showering I saw a roach in the bathroom then a few hours later I saw two baby roaches run across the TV stand. I was awaken by a pain in my neck only to find out that I was being bitten by a tick and I had to pull it off. This hotel though cheap, was not and is not fit for any type of living conditions.

Positives:
There was no breakfast served. The room was a wreck and had not been cleaned. Furniture was missing and there was no phone in the room. The bathroom was supper nasty and the bed was stained and smelled. The place needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
Negatives:
No one wants to sleep in filth. There were stains on the walls, broken furniture, missing furniture, no phone, and the place was not being cleaned, obviously.
