Quality Inn & Suites, off motorway I-85 in Charlotte, North Carolina, is located in one of the country's biggest boom areas and convention powerhouses, complete with professional sports, major corporate headquarters and other attractions. The hotel is a short drive from Carowinds amusement park, the stadium where the NFL's Panthers play, and the Coliseum, home of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Bobcats. Guests are also near the African- American Cultural Center and several museums devoted to everything from history, nature and trolleys, as well as the Charlotte Convention Center, and the NASCAR capital, Lowe's Motor Speedway. Guests can start their days with the hotel's complimentary continental breakfasts, and then splash in the swimming pool. Hungry guests are close to restaurants serving everything from steak to sushi.

Breakfast included a broken waffle machine, cereal, white toast, watered down apple juice, no eggs or sausage. Property smelled musty, like urine a bit. Stains on our sheets. Not a nice area either. We were just driving through and needed a spot to sleep.

So this was a good stay. Everything was good, especially for a cheap hotel. I was a little hesitant because of the other review, but this hotel is a good cheap option for a few days. They even came by to see if we had any dirty towels. The only thing is, in my room was tht the chair was dirty and dusty and it was hard, and like metal. I didn't even take a chance to sit in it. The couch was comfortable tho. The king size bed was big, literally bigger then a king size. It couldnt literally fit 4 to 5 people in it. It was so comfortable and the room was an amazing size. The tub was clean and they supplied a good amount of towels. I like the location bcs it was close to cookout, multiple gas stations and a McDonald's. Literally u could walk to cookout or the gas station. As for the breakfast, it was ok. Not that many options, only eggs, waffle maker, brownies, 2 types of cereal and apple juice, bread, tiny butter containers, orange juice and others. One thing about the room door, sumtimes it wouldn't lock, like u could close the door and just open it back up without the key. So definitely be aware of tht. And then sumtimes, the door is locked and it wouldn't open with the key and it took a few times and handle pulls to get the door to scan the card. I would stay here again. Front desk was nice and it seemed like it was a family business which was nice.

The location of the hotel is in a high crime area and the hotel is run down. The manager was unprofessional. Although, I prepaid to stay at the hotel. I left without staying due to the fear of my safety, unkept hotel facility and unprofessional staff. It does not look anything like the pictures on the site.
