Breakfast was ok.
Negatives:
There was a smell in the lobby and dining area that smelled like propane. I mentioned it to the person so the desk the night we checked in. She didn't think there was a leak. The smell was still there when we left. There was a different smell on the second floor we stayed on. These were not good smells and affected my breathing. The room could have been cleaner. There was no guide for the TV or note to tell you what channel the guide was on.

The breakfast was very good, with pancakes and all that would be expected of a buffet breakfast. The room was not fancy but totally clean and comfortable. The location is good. The Soul Food restaurant next door was good and easy.It was a good deal for the price.

Someone had a dog that barked quite a bit. There was a child in the room next to us that cried and yelled a lot.

Nothing. Place stinks and smells unclean. It is small and worn down. While I was standing in the lobby for 25mins no one was at the front counter. U could hear employees laughing and conversing amongst themselves down the hallway. The phone kept ringing back to back with no care to answer. I thought maybe the phone calls would force an employee to come to the front but I was wrong.

I booked and realized it was the wrong location as it was 3hrs away from where we needed to be. I went inside to speak to a manager if he would approve a cancelation without fee & they agreed. I called booking.com and let them know and when booking.com contacted them to confirm my information as true they denied it and kept my paid in full reservation. Unprofessional and shady.
