My stay at the motel 6 on North lake in Charlotte was actually very pleasant was better than what I thought it would be and that's mainly because of Tara in the office she was so nice and understanding and made sure I had everything I needed and made herself available for me when or if I needed her she always had a smile on her face and greeted me Everytime she saw me and her smile and lovely attitude was so contagious because Yu couldn't help but to smile back....so as far as my stay here was absolutely amazing and comfortable and yes I'll def be staying there again when I come back to Charlotte because Tara made it feel like home away from home forsure so I def recommend this hotel and you'll def be able to know if Tara is checking you in because her lovely attitude and smile isn't hard to miss

Excellent stay, friendly staff, great experience

The staff was very friendly and welcoming towards us for our visit. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of as well as amazing cleaning service. They gladly accepted our pets with no problems. Leaving felt like a family reunion and I intend to go visit them again. I truly appreciate their kindness and support.

I thought I already responded to this request. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

My complaints are that being a pet friendly hotel, they failed to empty the trash container provided at the pet area. It was over flowing when I got there and was overflowing when I left three days later even though I brought it to staff's attention three times. Plus unsightly abandoned toilets were sitting nearby. I also brought to staff's attention that someone had vomited and the bottom of the stairwell outside my door. One staff person said, "I saw that", yet it was never cleaned up. My room served it's purpose, it was clean and staff was respectful and helpful with the exception of what I've already mentioned.

I was double charged and was told the only way to fix it was to dispute it with my credit card company. The floors were disgusting. No refrigerator and frankly not a good location. Pretty expensive too

Underwhelming

The staff member that checked me in was great & professional. The problem was that after a long day of working, wasn’t able to check in until that night Got out all our belongings to enter the room. A guess was already in the room sleeping. Not aware of us entering the room because it scared us to death close the door quietly and quickly. Very shaken due to our safety. What if the guest was woken up by us entering and had a fire arm and thought someone was coming in to harm them. At the same time what if someone wasn’t us and someone had accessed the room seeing that the guest never woke up& took his belongings or cause harm to him. We paid extra for a microwave and fridge. The next room given we had to go back to front desk to get switched. Anywhere I stay I always take cleaning supplies to go over the room and working at hotel for years my early age some details cleaning was missed. The area has gotten better but the prices for the rooms doesn’t match the with the rooms..
