2 words! Ghetto hotel! The rooms were nothing like the photos documented on the website. We were not able to use the pool or did a maid even come and clean our rooms or make our beds. Refrigerator leaked, room smelled like urine and cigarettes. Pets are allowed!!! Which was not presented on the website. The bathroom was horrible and was nasty.. I did not take a shower because it looked unsanitary. Small towels and not even enough wash clothes. Breakfast was not good and they lock the lobby up at night do to the suspicious activity at night. Do not bring ur family or kids here... I wouldn't want my pet to stay here..... I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

The pictures online look nothing like they do in person. They really need to update their website to show how the hotel look in the day time. The first room they gave me was horrible, the fire alarm battery needed to be replaced, the bath tub was dirty, condom wrappers in the breeze way. The room had a bad smell, the second room toilet was so nasty my son wouldn't use the bathroom; had to shower with out crocs on because the bathtub was full of someone else hair. Nothing worked!!! I will never stay there ever again!!! It was so bad we left!!

The breakfest was very good. However, the area seemed a little sketchy, like I would not have wanted to be alone. There was a half naked man outside his room in a wheelchair yelling when we first arrived, and many people outside their rooms smoking, even though there were designated smoking areas. The staff was very helpful though, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our shampoo bottle was half used when we got our room, but the rest of the place was clean.

The only good thing was the closeness to Duke Hospital.

The only reason we chose this hotel was for the free shuttle to Duke hospital and the pool. when we arrived the pool was closed and they stopped offering a hospital shuttle two years ago per the manager. The bed was awful. The towels were very thin and old and left fuzz balls all over our bodies. The floors are very uneven The continental breakfast had no meat options, only eggs and waffles for hot items. The housekeeper was mopping the floor with a towel wrapped around a broom. We travel quite a bit and this was by far the worst hotel weve stayed at.

THE FACT THAT AS SOON AS I OPENED THE ENTRANCE DOOR WHERE THERE SAID THERES NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES ACTUALLY WAS A LIE. THE BEDDING WERE NOT PROPERLY CLEANED. MY COUSIN AND I WERE JUST WAITING FOR A ROACH TO POP OUT. WE BOTH REFUSED TO EVEN TAKE A SHOWER YET ALONE TRUST THE TOWELS AFTER SEEING WET STAINS ON THE SHEETS. IT WAS JUST UNSANITARY & FAR FROM WHAT I AM USED TOO.
