Positives:
The location is close to why we were in Greenville, NC, for the Eastern Carolina University graduation.
Negatives:
1. I called the property a week before our arrival to inquire about the payment method. I asked a staff member why the prices were so high. The gentleman indicated that it was for ECU graduation. Prices are raised exponentially for this event and football games. The highest price I have paid for an IHG hotel of this quality is over $400.00 a night.
2. The hotel charged $13.95 for a buffet breakfast. Breakfast should have been included. It is an industry-standard today
3. The room is smaller than most newly built hotels. It had a king bed and sofa but was small for the price point.
The bathroom is small and uncomfortable, not as small as the old Best Western bathrooms. The bathroom door
backs into the tub shower.
