The room smelled like old mold.
The floor was dirty. I had to buy a mop and cleaning products. And an air freshener.
The microwave did not have a handle on it.
Someone stole our do not disturb sign.

They Cater more to drug addicts I was so scared trying to check in. I can’t check in to a room I paid for in advance without a. $100 dollar cash deposit. their ATM will only give out $20 at a time with a $3 fee So I have to drive to another ATM. On return the couple that was behind me checking in got back first so I am now behind them they found a closer ATM. Then the phone rings it is the guest in room 209 , we are told to go outside she head’s upstairs. She returns with the guest from that room that is running around the office screaming about the people that jumped him took his room key and his car keys. she is now checking in the other couple this guy is screaming to the clerk you saw the gun, she told us when she went upstairs he had all the furniture in the room against the door. then she tells the guest didn’t you say you called 911. he says no and picks up phone and calls 911. you would think she would make call as a safety precaution. she tells us this is the third incident today in his room. now four police cars show up they all know guest by first name they also have an ambulance. I say to police he is hallucinating and withdrawing from whatever he took. he needs a hospital. I went to my room in fear and double locked the door. I am in Hickory for a memorial service on Sunday, Booking.com needs to be made aware of this.

Rude staff, filthy room, mold, dead bugs, cigarette holes in sheets, room smelled like cigarettes, had to be moved, stained furniture, holes in walls, no drain plug in bath tub. I took photos.
