The location was great.
Negatives:
The rooms were dirty you never say anyone at the front desk even if you knocked or called out. They had you check in and out on a screen. The guy couldn’t answer questions about a refund for one day. I was told to check with booking.com who called the facility but never got ahold of anyone. The breakfast was not much and the prepackaged stuff was absolutely gross. Actually clean the rooms. When we got there water was coming out of the fridge so we wiped it up and the towel was black. Sand was everywhere, mold, unclean walls. The pool was cloudy and a crab was in the pool as was hair and bugs.

Positives:
This is a hotel that you need to go into with little expectations. For what it is, it was a clean place to lay my head while I was working. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate.
Negatives:
The hotel cannot control it's guests sadly. Marijuana was rampant in the air and guests are just loud and don't care to think about others. There was a truck in the parking lot revving it's engine the second morning I was there at like 7:30am. Guests yelled and screamed to each other along the balcony that was shared between all rooms. The people above me sounded like they were rearranging furniture all night long and kids zipping from one end of the room to the other. Again. This is not something the hotel really has any control over. Just pointing it out for future guests.

Hotel was ran down and not the cleanest. Pool was very small, filled up quickly. Only one elevator for entire hotel which was located up front in lobby. All outside trash overflowing and parking lot overtaken with weeds.

Rooms were dirty and not maintained. Pool closed before closing time. No wash station after coming from the beach. Housekeeping did not clean thoroughly. Not enough towels had to keep asking main desk for more towels. Housekeeping only left 3 towels when I booked a room for 4 people. Never changed sheets on beds. Was told by receptionist that hotel was going to be renovated next year. I feel like that's why nothing is being up kept and that's horrible.

Positives:
It was right at the ocean, and we had a great view from our room. It was otherwise in a great location, in very short driving distance to stores and restaurants. It was quiet and family friendly when we were there.
Negatives:
We had to pay $25/room because we checked in early. Which was nonsense to pay since the rooms had obviously been ready and nobody had to rush to get them ready AND while superficial clean, the base of the toilet was dirty in both rooms, and I had to get staff to clean the AC unit and change the filter because that has mold starting to grow. I had booked over booking.com with the option to pay at the location, but then instead of the sum of two rooms, I had to pay each room separately which was unnecesary.

The pool was clean, the sand wash off area, close walk to the beach, location in the town.

There was dog poop everywhere on every grassy area. The dog poop station was out of poop bags the whole time I was there. I hated how I check in with a kiosk and not a person. There was trash all over the place. There was a man who came to spray against bugs at the back door, and he sprayed my kids toys which were close by. I didn't know what toxic substance he sprayed and that made me very nervous. If I knew he was coming I would have moved our belongings. The ceiling in our room had paint that was peeling and falling to the floor. The sheets were obviously not clean when we arrived and had sand under the covers by the foot area and hair on the pillows. The microwave smelled so bad and had food stuck inside. The front door was so weird, there was a half inch space under the door and on top of the door to the outside. The door that was installed was obviously not the right fit. This caused cigarette smoke from outside to come in our room which irritated all of us.

Our hotel room was infested with cockroaches. They were crawling on the floor, walls, tables, shower curtain, everywhere. The room was dirty and disgusting. When I checked under the sheets to see if there were cockroaches, there was hair. The workers were not nice and did not handle the situation well. It was the 4th of July so all other hotels were booked, so we had to just drive home 4 hours because we did not have a place to stay. We were supposed to stay until Sunday, so this ruined our entire weekend. We immediately got all of our stuff out of the room when we saw the cockroaches, but some still came home in our luggage so we have had to fully clean & check everything prior to brining it in our house. This hotel should be completely shut down. We were on the 3rd floor so there are definitely cockroaches throughout the hotel.
