Excellent and unexpected - I had never stayed here before! The front desk staff was great and the room was wonderful. Right on the beach next to Kitty Hawk Pier. Fantastic! Food was great at the small restaurant. Water in aluminum bottles a real plus! Went out at about 6 AM to the beach and the Weather Channel was filming right at the pier. Everyone very friendly. Beds comfortable. All around A+. Will be coming back!

Staff is PHENOMENAL. Location is great.
Negatives:
Got the meal plan - based on previous reviews. Was expecting a buffet as opposed to sit-down. While the food was pretty good, it was just way too much that early in the morning. If you're not used to eating a really big breakfast, you should probably skip the meal plan.
