The property appears to have been recently renovated and was very well done. The room was large and tastefully decorated. All of the ammenities were what would be expected in a hotel of this type.
Negatives:
The biggest complaint I had was that there was not one protein on the breakfast selection. Every thing that was presented was a carbohydrate. Many people (me included) do not eat carbs; or eat very few per day. Eggs, sausage, bacon..... I know they are an added expense, but you asked.

Positives:
Very poor breakfast. No protein, no hot food except for waffle machine. No attendant available. Several hotel guests walked into the breakfast area, took a look at the selections, and walked out.
Negatives:
The cockroach crawling on the bed! The desk clerk said that when it rains they crawl inside. It had rained earlier that day. Apparently someone with a big dog stayed there previously and locked the dog in the bathroom. In trying to get out, it most likely jumped against the door and scraped the paint. It’s an easy maintenance fix, but wasn’t done.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Coffee in the room, microwave and refrigerator. The complete facility was clean and neat. Breakfast was included. The staff was friendly and excellent. It was located near several places to eat. It is a pet friendly hotel, but $20.00 per day for the pet.
Negatives:
No dog walking area.
