Bathroom really needs updating. Walls in there look bad. Would ask for a room in the back of the hotel as could hear cars on the highway all night long.

The location was in close proximity to the events I wanted to go to.
Negatives:
The hotel has gone down over the years it's old dilapidated and has a homeless encampment right behind the hotel.. there were roaches in the bathroom the bathroom tub wasn't clean thoroughly. The female front desk staff was particularly not nice to deal with. Didn't get her name because she didn't have a name tag but she was sort of heavy set dark brown, skin medium brown skin young female.

I noticed that there was a sign on the front desk, twice in my one night stay that said " we are helping a customer and will return in 20 minutes". My concern was if I wanted to check out at that moment...I would not have been able and I was on a tight schedule.

We came down to Raleigh for a Halloween event. The hotel was close to the city center and reasonable price for just a place to stay for the night.

Check in was @ 3:00 PM. We arrived after 4:30 PM and the room was still not ready.

There were bugs in the first room we were put in and also a dirty rag on the shower curtain. We were then moved to another room after trying to get a refund for over an hour and we entered the second room and were greeted by not one but two stink bugs.
