However, I was very disappointed in the exorbitant pet fee charged. Several hotels where I stay charge no fee at all (Aloft, Embassy Suites) so when I saw the notification that person were welcome and "there may be a fee " I mistakenly assumed it would be reasonable. $150 extra is not reasonable at all, and while the stay was otherwise perfect, I would never stay in a Marriott again with my pet or on my own if other reasonable options are available. Just say pets aren't allowed if the charge is so much as to actually be punitive.
