I read in another review that it was under construction but didn't see it anywhere on their website. I booked this specific hotel because of the indoor pool which ended up being closed due to construction. Even with all this it was a nice hotel.

This past weekend,the hotel gave the very worst room to my daughter and her 6 month old baby. The room reeked. How embarrassing for me (I treated her to the reservation). An employee even told them it was the worst room. The conclusion was that it is the room where many/often dogs are kept. I wouldn't know. I feel for my six month old granddaughter, who had to be in there.
The name was Andersen. I made the reservation way in advance.

Recently remodeled and VERY clean. Help was outstanding and breakfast was exceptional. Best thing, though a small gesture, was a table with sweet tea on it all day. I looked forward to that every day when I returned.

3rd floor under construction for updates, never saw anything other than handy men, very quiet. Breakfast was great.
Negatives:
Hotel was being updated, carpets in hall had 2" buckles, but we were explained that changes were coming. The room had wet carpets from cleaning without sucking up the water, fixed the next day, had to put down plastic and towels first night, as it was discovered 10 pm when I took off my shoes. Staff was very helpful. It was re-cleaned correctly the next day.
