Negatives: No breakfast. Too close to interstate highway. Heard traffic all night

Negatives: Toiletries were lacking and toilet wasn't sealed insuring cleaned/sanitized.

Negatives: Cleanliness…bedsheets had stains/bed cover had cigarette burn holes. When I told the front desk they didn’t seem overly concerned.

Negatives: There was no fridge in the room

Negatives: Cleanliness and clientele. We noticed there are full time residents living at this hotel. The school bus came to pickup a child. One couple was hanging over the balcony and singing loudly. One of them was parked outside my room in his car. He was there from the time we checked in until we came back from dinner. It was intimidating to say the least. My room showed so much wear on the furniture and outdated decor. The bedding seemed clean enough. That was not the case in my son’s room. The sheets were stained and had holes in them. The front desk person was curt and not helpful to say the least. When I came to ask him if I could cancel because I felt unsafe and unhappy he said I could cancel through booking.com. We had just driven for 10 hours and did not know how to contact you and, honestly, were so tired we needed to rest. My son was unable to sleep at all based concerns regarding safety for me, our car and our belongings. The neighborhood was rough. Police were called to the Burger King right by the hotel because of a woman making threats with a gun. We woke up to police cars at the hotel and 4 or 5 policeman searching one of the resident’s roomsand holding him outside the room. I had stayed there a few times 4 or 5 years ago without these issues. I wasn’t expecting luxury for the price point ; however I did expect cleanliness, somewhat current decor and most of all to feel safe!
