Positives:
The guy working the front desk. He a ent above and beyond, was super friendly and helpful and checked on us everytime we crossed paths. Every hotel needs a guy or girl like him working the desk. We would definitely stay there again.

Was a bit of a drive to the beach but that wasnt even a huge problem.

I did not have breakfast. I liked the bed- comfortable. TV was easy to use. Room was clean and appropriate for my use.

The AC did not work very well. The room was on the sunny side of the hotel requiring the curtains to be closed. However, closing one of the curtains curtailed air flow into the room considerably. There seemed to be no hair dryer in the room (I searched for it); had my wife been with me, this would have made her very unhappy. The shower curtain was too short. A new curtain rod had been installed that curved outward; this gives the tub a more spacious appearance when showering. But the curtain needs to be changed to a longer one when this is done. I got water on a lot of the bathroom floor when showering that I had to put towels over.

Overall good experience. Clean room, friendly staff. Pool was clean.

Breakfast stops too early and very little flexibility with late checkout request, even with late check in. We left a pillow and they never bothered to call and give us the opportunity to come back to retrieve it. Did not notice until too late.
