Positives: Beautiful location nestled in the Landfall neighborhood/ personable staff. Well lit parking lot. Centrally located
Negatives: I stayed in two different rooms/ the second one was on the first floor and had water stains in the ceiling and a huge almost dead guest upon arrival ( a huge roach) staff helped me dispose of it. But it made me wish for the other room.

Negatives: Needs a renovation. Room had two “used” hand soaps at sink area. Disgusting! Bath tub caulking peeling off & discolored. During the entire time we were there the juice station was not available for breakfast. Only had coffee or milk. Breakfast was just ok nothing special.

Positives: It’s a perfect location, been every year for the last 8 years. Quiet and clean
Negatives: The lobby as soon as you walk has an overwhelming fragrance. It is so pungent. I have asthma and allergies and it was very uncomfortable for me. I even inquired and was told that there are air fresheners (mango) at the lobby and that housekeeping using downy unstoppables in the vacuums. I had to cover my face every time I walked out of my room. I understand that people think it isn’t offensive but for many people, overwhelming perfumes or cleaning smells, candles or air fresheners are a health issue. The staff asked me after I mentioned it to them if they wanted someone to come spray febreeze in my room. Again missing the point. Sadly as much as I like the hotel I will not be coming back because of the fragrance issue.

Positives: Pool and tiki bar was awesome. We stayed during the week and the vibe was laid back and family friendly. The breakfast and coffee is a bonus in the morning too!
Negatives: Not much in walking distance. The steak house next door is a rip off for rich locals only.

Negatives: Room 105 was too close to elevator...everytime the door opened it would chime ...all night ! Room was too close to housekeeping..getting their carts ready in AM very loud. Need signage on Rockwood Rd informing of hotel locations in business park...can't see from road. GPS says arrive at location but nowhere to be seen.

Positives: This was the best property for the price in Wilmington during July. Was there to visit our son and get him moved into his senior year at UNCW townhouse. I had no car so I went back-and-forth to his place. In the meantime, I was as able to do a lot without a car. I could take a jog on the summer rest trail (1.5 miles round trip); take a bike from across the road over to groceries and Starbucks; do my shopping at Hannaford right in the same plaza. Go to any number of restaurants in the Lumina shopping plaza, right beside the Harris Teeter. Christina at the front desk was a wonderful customer service rep for Hampton Inn! She and the other staffers were the reason I stayed as long as I did. Caitlin (hope i remembered that right??)at the poolbar was wonderful; and everyone greeted me every morning with the smile.
Negatives: My room had a window that didn’t close and I could hear loud music & groups at the pool until 10 PM - that’s when the pool closed. But I loved the location of the room on the first floor and further back, so that I could come and go and park easily.

Positives: Friendly staff had a sheet of local restaurants and the breakfast in the morning was well stocked.
Negatives: My non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke and the over head light fixture in the bathroom fell down from the ceiling.

Positives: There were definitely some highlights to our stay — parking was easy, the location was excellent, and the breakfast selection each morning was very good. These aspects made certain parts of our visit enjoyable.
Negatives: I wanted to share my disappointment regarding the condition of the pool area during our recent stay. On both days we attempted to use the pool, I ultimately could not allow my child to swim due to the poor state of cleanliness. There was a visible ring of mold around the edge of the pool, the pump was not running, and the water appeared stagnant with bugs and leaves floating in it. This was especially frustrating because your hotel is in such a great location, and having a clean, well-maintained pool is something many guests, including families like mine, look forward to. Unfortunately, the pool’s condition did not meet basic standards of upkeep, and it felt like a real disservice to paying guests. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements, as it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Positives: It wasn't too far from the beach about 15 minutes driving. The breakfast was great there was options of fruit, muffins, bagels, omelettes, sausage etc. The room was clean and comfortable.
Negatives: The pool was closed for maintenance it would've been great for the kids to be able to use it especially since summer is just beginning and it's really hot out.
