Clothes rack was loose and almost broke off the wall, we just hung our sweaters and they were 2 adults and 2 kids, they weren't even heavy. Told staff but they said they didn't have a swing maintenance, I told them if they had the material I'd fix it. Just need a couple of drywall anchors. Also the pool was crowed, my girls wanted to play on lilly pads n monkey bars like the picture they posted but they were taken out.

The night audit guy was fantastic. However when we checked in the lady lied and told us they only had one handicap room available and it was on 2nd floor. The night crew informed me there was one available but we had already settled in so didn't change.
Negatives:
Bed was quite worn out and had serious divots from the use and age of the mattress. Our second room had dust and cob webs all along the ceiling. We enjoy this place but the cleaning staff needs to put some more effort forward.
Second complaint is the breakfast as 7 people stand waiting on 1 waffle machine I mentioned to the attendant they should have 2 and she just kept spouting (noo one good enough) it's not that expensive to have 2 so I'd strongly suggest getting a 2nd.

The breakfast was good. The pool was good until the children that were unattended broke the slide and flooded the place.

The bed squeaked so much that it woke me up every time I moved so I could not get a good night's sleep. The TV was so tiny. The water pressure was not good in the shower. The tub would not drain.

Gross old dilapidated hotel, disgusting bathroom, the stench in the room was so bad that I had to check out a night early because I could not breathe from the odor, the elevators were dirty, small, and also had an odor, which reminded me of an electrical fire, the linens felt dirty , but it was hard to see if they were actually dirty due to poor lighting in the room, the floor was stained and dirty, so much so that I did not feel comfortable walking around without my shoes on. There were lots of shady characters in and around the hotel. I think that you should disclose to people that that this used to be the old Doublewood Hotel, if I would have known that I would’ve never stayed here. It was too high priced for what I consider a half star hotel. Furthermore, I cannot believe that a big hotel chain would put their name on such a dilapidated property. They should be embarrassed.
