Positives:
The pool area was nice. Staff were friendly.
Negatives:
The continental breakfast was not great. Little selection, the bagels were stale, no fruit offered. The hotel itself was dated and in need of renovations. Rooms could have been cleaner.

Unfriendly staff. Room very hot with an archaic heater that couldn't be controlled to cool down the room. No fruits for Breakfast.

The pool and the bar. We didn't use the bar this time, but we like the Karaoke night. The pool was nice and warm this time. We plan to come back again.

The tub drain in the bathroom wouldn't drain. The breakfast was kind of slim pickins.

The 70's would like to let you know that decor is not in style anymore. Walls are super "thin". Person in next room had their cell on speaker and heard the whole conversation. Breakfast was cold even though we had it over an hour before it ended.

The continental breakfast wasn't the greatest. Powdered eggs runny and cold.

The front desk lady was very friendly and accommodating. She really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable!

Our shower was not the cleanest and the drain did not work. The bathroom could use some updating.

The pool was actually warm this time. Very nice swimming time. The karaoke in the bar was pretty cool as well.

There was no tv remote in the room. When we went to the desk to get one...we couldn't get the tv to work. Only one channel worked and that was it. Very disappointing.

Located close to Alerus Center where my event was scheduled. Cheap rate, clean room, and located within blocks of where I was supposed to be.

Location was close to a McDonalds and gas station
Negatives:
Rooms were out dated, wall paper peeling from the walls, no thermostat just baseboard heater with a knob and an AC unit. We had both running at times. Lobby was the nicest part. No elevators only stairs, hallways had strong apple cinnamon smell but people were illegally smoking weed so it was a weird mixture.

This is an old hotel. It seemed clean and everthing worked. The evening desk staff was welcoming. The AM was chatting on her phone and just signaled us where to put our room keys at checkout.
