The king bed!! When I did ask for towels and bedding they did bring it.Sarah and Olivia where super great people!! After being there almost 2months they where all friendly after awhile. Manager was very nice and helpfull. Thank u!

That some people are just not helpfull and friendly!!! It's just a down fall to staying there.... Did ask for much did my own cleaning..always gave tips to the staff!!!! I use to clean at the holiday Inn
In Madison. My rooms where very cleaned and small good!!! And left little candy. Was very friendly and helpfull .room where always clean every day with fresh stuff every day,!! U kill them with kindness!!!! And you will make great tips girls

Our room had piles of dirt and food in the corners, looked like it wasn’t disinfected and properly cleaned due to stickiness on the dresser and nightstand, and the towels were stained! The breakfast was no breakfast at all. Only offered coffee and small muffins. No hot food at all.

Hello-
I did not photograph but there was hair everywhere as though the floors hadn’t been broomed very often, the toilet bowl was dirty with feces, there was less than a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper, stains on the bedding, the room was not carpeted but there was debris throughout such as bottle caps.
I was given two keys. Neither would work more than once. The front desk rudely told me that the key cards cannot be near cell phones or they would deactivate. Maybe should be mentioned at check in.
At check in they attempted to charge me for the room
Even though I paid in advance on booking.
The parking lot was unkept. There hadn’t been a snow in about a week but it looked like the parking lot was never even attended to and most of it was slick ice. There were several hotels in the immediate area, all with cleared, safe lots. But don’t worry, being a pet friendly hotel (I did not bring pets but I was aware prior that it was) there were plenty of soiled and urine spots throughout the snowy, icy walkways to help get your footing.
I didn’t see anywhere in the notes that this was a two store hotel with no elevator. Imagine my surprise carrying three people’s worth of stuff back and forth through an icy, unattended to parking lot to get to a door that occasionally reacted to my key, across the width of the building, and up a flight of steps, then down the hall to our room.
Went to the continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, both times opting to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. The options were extremely limited and unappealing. Thought having a restaurant/bar/lounge on site would be great as we were lodging due to all day sporting events. Shockingly the restaurant/bar/lounge was closed. Like closed closed.
I read the reviews and thought folks were being dramatic. I am an Army veteran who grew up in very low income poverty conditions… the reviews were not overly dramatic. They were quite tame in comparison to reality.

I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. The size of the room was perfect. I enjoyed the fact that there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The room was very affordable.
Negatives:
I did not like the cold showers - there was no hot water in my room. The breakfast was less than mediocre. The outside of the property was not cleaned of snow and ice. It was quite unpleasant to walk in snow and slush and slipping on ice at night just going out to the car and back.
