Our room needed some love for sure. Chipping paint and obvious water damage on ceiling in bedroom and in bathroom. Toilet leaked every time we flushed. Other than that, the place is beautiful.

There was a high pitch hum that kept coming on all night. The queen bed that we had was a double and my husband's feet hung over the bed. The bed went down hill on a end.

The character and history of the hotel were unbeatable. Having an attached parking garage, an option to self park for $33 per day and come and go was great. Check in was fast and staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was clean and beautiful.

The room was very very small, but to be expected with an older hotel. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable Ive ever laid on and I was very surprised for a hotel of this level. Front desk told us beds arent true to size because of room size.

The walls are paper thin in the rooms. For being an upscale Hilton, the staff (with the exception of our bellman), was very nonchalant and apathetic, which dampens the experience of staying in such a beautiful hotel.

It is close to everything and easy to get to and from the hotel

We did not have hot water. The maintenance man said it was less booked and with that it takes a while to get hot water. It took almost 40 minutes to get warm water.

Getting a little warn - flaking paint above the bed, dirty windows, unvacuumed hall carpet, etc.

Our only issue came from the kitchen on Saturday morning for breakfast. 3 out of the 4 in our group ordered the Palm Court Benedict(with smoked salmon). It wasn't very crowded but, we waited for quite a while for our food. Unfortunately, it arrived at the table cold. The hollandaise sauce had "hardened". The eggs were over done or, possibly cold as they were not runny as they should have been. The salmon was almost ice cold. The wait staff (George was our waiter) was great as always!
