Positives:
No matter which side of the building you're on, you'll likely have a decent view of something, whether it's Lake Erie, Public Square or the stunning Fountain of Eternal Life. Beds were comfy. The hotel is close to downtown attractions. Shout out to the staff member who helped me fix the reservation and find a room when I had accidentally booked the wrong day for our stay.

Location is great, especially being across the street from the convention center. The Marriott is very accommodating and clean.
Negatives:
We have stayed here 7 years back to back for the tattoo convention every year. The price has sky rocketed over the years including parking. Also the facility has "changed its policy" when paying and I was never informed or notified. I typically always pay cash and pay extra for incidentals which I typically get back upon check out. I was told I can no longer do that due to new policy or I needed to find somewhere else to stay even though I've had this hotel booked for months. When told this, the gentleman made me and my wife feel incompetent and made us question if we wanted to continue with our check in. Then when checking out I was asked if I wanted to pay cash for my stay like I do any other time as though the "new policy" was never a thing.

The location is nice. Food was good, slightly expensive though. Pretty clean, but I would pay more attention to that.

In order to use your car, toy have to call to the reception, and they are going to bring the car over.
The heater was just awful, I don't know from what century it was, but it was a pain in the back to deal with it and to put and hold the temperature that is comfortable for us.
