Staybridge Suites Columbus - Worthington

Negatives: Staff had issues getting me checked in and the staff suggested I contact booking.com about finding another hotel instead of offering any solutions for my wait. The hallways smelled like dirty cat litter. Our room had leftover dog food on the floor that hadn’t been cleaned up, not good when traveling with a toddler.

Negatives: Their website says they have rooms that will sleep six. They don't. Their website pictures are misleading/false. It shows a room with two beds and a sofa/chaise and the other picture is a room with a bed. But what we got was a two bedroom suite that has two rooms, each with a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom. Great for the first four in your group. However, the little living room has a sofa bed that is barely bigger than a twin. The rest of the sofa was a chaise lounge module that was separate from the sofa. Not big enough for an adult, but luckily one of the kids was small enough to sleep on it. But, good luck having two any- sized humans sleep on the sofa bed portion. It was unsleepable and should be thrown out! Customer service was poor--they told us the only thing they could do, since there were no other rooms in the building was to give us some extra pillows and comforters and to sleep on the floor and we could talk to the manager in the morning! After wrangling with front desk and even corporate office for two hours (by now it was past midnight) we gave up and I just didn't sleep. I'm still trying to get this resolved. Not the experience I expected from an IHG property at all. So if you are a party of six, go check the room before you say you'll take it. Or better yet, move on to another property!

Negatives: Separate building from lobby. Entry into rms bldg sloppy-dirty. Inside bldg was good tho. waited for clean room-30 minutes at 4 pm. Staff regretful about it & courteous. No carts. No Ramps. Deadbolt in room didnt work. No ice machine.

Negatives: Dirty towels/washclothes, room smelled like cigarettes, broken trim, empty vodka bottle, flossers, dirt, dusty vents, the main entrance was broken and left open for anyone to enter the hotel... The list goes on about how poorly managed this hotel was.

Negatives: Price was higher than I agreed to.

Negatives: We had to switch rooms after 1 night because we had no hot water, after that the hot water was hit and miss. Housekeeping was pretty much non existent. We were there for 9 nights, housekeeping only came on day 7. They left towels and made the 2 beds but didn’t change the sheets. They didn’t leave any toilet paper, we ran out and had to supply our own. When we checked in, there were 2 packets of coffee, when housekeeping came on day 7 they left one, we never had sugar. When we opened the dishwasher the top rack fell out. Our first room had no cookware except for 1 small frying pan. We called the front desk to have the room put on a different credit card and the employee didn't know how to do that. When we checked out, we succeeded in getting the charges split between 2 cards but it required 20 minutes at the front desk. At least we think that’s what happened, it’s been 24 hours and we have yet to get the email receipt they said would be sent. There was usually a very strong smell of weed throughout. This was the third time we’ve stayed at this hotel because of the location but we won’t be going back.

Negatives: The website clearly says 2 bedrooms which is what we wanted, it’s only one. 6 people in our room and we only had 3 large towels. We asked the front desk for more and they said they’d send someone with them but we never got them.

Negatives: The breakfast was not what im use to when staying at a staybrige hotel the breakfast is way better in the south. But it was ok.
