Tru by Hilton Columbus Airport

Negatives: The electric blackout blinds in our room did not work. We had to have the maintenance man fix them multiple times so we could let light in to the room, but it never worked properly while we were there for 5 days. The handicap accessible shower drained onto the bathroom floor, so we had to use multiple towels to dry the floor every time we took a shower. There are no closets in the rooms, only a small 10" wide cubby and some hooks on the wall to hang clothes, and the bathroom counter space is very minimal, especially when two people use the room.

Negatives: 1- being told that the first floor rooms were usually saved for people with pets.....2- being told that there was 100$ refundable charge for? Room damage I guess....my wife and I are 75 we brought no pets what in Gods name do you suppose we would do that you couldn’t take a chance on us that we would damage anything that you’d have to charge 100 $ more on my card?...just another “ thing “ I will have to check on for awhile to be and sure you removed the 100$ charge....you see ,I don’t know you or necessarily trust you either....and the email a couple days before our stay informing us and warning us that covid protocols were in place and we would be required to be “ masked “ up while in your hotel....perhaps you need to update and check what your sending out to your customers a little more....

Negatives: Nothing comes to mind

Negatives: For the price, the breakfast was just so-so. I made the reservation four months in advance & requested a specific floor. The hotel did not fulfill my request which was a bit disappointing. They said it was because they were fully booked.

Negatives: Was a good stay no complaints

Negatives: The staff was not friendly at all! There were only two friendly staff members out of the five that I encountered. If they had better staff this hotel would’ve got a 10 out of 10 for sure.

Negatives: No smoking room but that's life

Negatives: I read a review prior to the stay and i laughed because they complained about the bed frames sticking out. Little did i know i would become a bed frame victim, they stick out so much i hit my knee so hard it tore my pants and made my knee bleed. Breakfast was just ok. The worst part was parking. The hotel was booked solid and there was zero spots. I had to park along the side of the sidewalk and hope it didnt get hit by morning.

Negatives: Bed too soft Blanket/comforter poor
