We was there for event at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. I booked this because of the location (how close to the fairgrounds) and its rating. I was not disappointed. What especially impressed me was the staff. The staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice and roomy. Thank you to the staff for making my short stay wonderful.

Nice place for military show

It was clean and close to the baseball fields. The patio was also nice as well as the huge open area out back. it gave the boys something to do when the pool was "closed".

We booked a room that was supposed to have a pull out couch. When we found out we asked the front desk for a roll away bed which they tried to charge us for and acted very inconvenienced to have to bring us one.
We were there for a baseball tournament for our son - a bunch of the team was swimming Saturday evening and a couple walked in, got in the pool (with all of the 8 and 9 year old boys) and started making out and groping each other. One of the staff members walked in and told them to stop because there were kids in the pool. They got upset and went and complained to someone and then we were told to get out of the pool because they had to "drain it" for some reason. Pool never got drained that evening or the next morning. Very frustrating because other than baseball these kids are pumped for the hotel pool on travel weekends.
