Positives: Check-in and check-out was efficiently handled. The hotel looked more like a Days Inn than a Hampton. It definitely does not live up to the Hampton name.
Negatives: This was the worst Hampton I have ever stayed at. We stayed two days and our room was not serviced. They h=only had two towels in the room. The pool's heater was broken and water cloudy. The door to the pool is broken and hanging off hinges.

Positives: When we stayed here, the hotel was actually under renovation. The front desk person had to open our door each time we returned from an outing. However, this oddly made us feel safe. Everyone on staff was really kind and professional

Positives: The location was great for what we needed
Negatives: It was under renovation and they were making loud noise until 6p and then started up again on Saturday at 7a. The room keys didnt work so you had to go the desk to get into your room which was fine Friday night but Friday afternoon you couldnt find the girl at the front desk. I went up there 6 times because my tv never worked. When I finally found her. She never resolved my issue with the tv. Hot breakfast in the morning consisted of sausage links.

Positives: Location excellent for Dix Stadium. Front of house staff very helpful
Negatives: Booked for 2 stays a week apart. The place was being renovated, but we were not informed prior to check in - massive issues with noise form the builders above the room - clearing tiles and rubble, boom box playing. Light fitting fell out of fitting and hung from ceiling due to the work being done above. Halfway through the stay the cancelled the second booking and we had to book else where a further half hour away costing $100 more. Initial offer of a day rebate was offered on check out, but a week later nothing - I had to physically return to the hotel to "remind them" to process it and then it still took another week to appear. Not rushing back

Negatives: Unfortunately they had building works going on that we were never told about. This work was on the rim above us for the whole stay, very very noisy, rude huilders, totally unacceptable. The front desk offered a refund but have seen nothing!

Negatives: Check in was hectic, room was dirty, not enough towels. Beds are most definitely NOT doubles, more like large twins. We were traveling with another couple and when we got back to the hotel at 9:30 they found that their room had been given to someone else! Had to drive 2 hours home! How does that happen??

Positives: Beds, breakfast and staff were very good.
Negatives: The property is tired. Window blinds in poor condition. Had to request soap, Kleenex etc. for our room both times we stayed. The first night we reserved on line and the rate was in the $80'S. the second night we reserved at your hotel and the best rate you would give us was $130. The hotel was not full. Our next trip to Kent we will make alternate accommodation arrangements.
