Not worth the money
Positives:
I'm on a road trip that unexpectedly includes my mother's dog, a chocolate lab. This motel allows pets with no upcharge, and it's much easier to have a dog with the doors leading directly outside. The receptionist, being conversational (wondering why I was checking in on Christmas), learned of the sad reason for my trip, and she was extremely kind and empathetic. She showed me a picture of her own dog, then gave me tips on the best areas to walk my mom's dog. The room was clean and the area was quiet and felt safe. The shower was hot with good pressure.
Negatives:
There were two very flat pillows on the bed, which was a bit too firm for my taste. And there was one thin towel in the bathroom. The room was way too hot, so I tried to turn the heat down, but it just kept blowing heat. The dog was panting all night and I was uncomfortably hot. Also, the heater coming on over and over was loud, and it kept waking me up. With all of these factors, I got just over 4 hours of sleep. Still, not many hotels allow big dogs, so I can't complain. *Bring your own shampoo.

Quiet, safe, clean and pet...
Positives:
The staff at the front desk, at night when I checked in and in the morning at check out, were all very polite and helpful.
The plumbing in the bathroom could use some attention.
Overall I had a good and safe stay.

The shower area needs some updating.

Room was filthy had to buy cleaning materials. Stained towels and dog feces everywhere! Lots of noise. Not a pleasant stay.
