The hotel told me there wasn't a kind room for our stay, charged me more than we reserved the room for and when I said something about the price difference, the manager called me a liar and told me I was lying in front of my kids. Then told us we had to leave. And STILL charged us for the room. Will NEVER stay here again

Entered room and it was not clean. Smelled like smoke, shower was disgusting with huge amounts of long hair everywhere aand grimy tub. Microwave dirty.
Were moved to another room and it also smelled like smoke, mirror was so dirty with smudges, prints and water splash marks all over it, microwave was dirty and remote control did not work. We just drove a long way and just wanted to shower and go to bed, so we stayed anyways.

Came down for a funeral...

Not much went well during our experience except the front desk manager was compliant when I asked for a refund. He also agreed to let us see another room after we were unsatisfied with the first room.
Negatives:
Very dirty room and bathroom, looks like the housekeeping staff didn't even try to clean after the last 5 guests at least, not to mention the pungent overwhelming smell of cigarettes and smoke. My wife found hairs still in the bath tub, and dirt stuck on the floor of the shower. We also found a car scent tree laying on one of the air conditioners, letting us know that the effort and hygiene is very very low in this hotel. After that, we asked to see another room, when we took a look at the SECOND ROOM, it was exactly the same as the first, except now the room has a different smell, like rotten wood. Our experience with Baymont was so bad we had to cancel and look somewhere else. We personally will not be looking to book a Baymont anytime soon or in the future at all. We 0/10 recommend.

The staff was so terrible I did not stay here. I travel weekly so it takes a lot to get me upset. But this place did it. I would recommend to others stay away
