The room had bugs! Roaches and roach feces! The walls in the room look like they haven’t been cleaned since the place was built. The couch was filthy! The oven had so much grease burnt on the inside. The room was just nasty!

I sure would like to have my money back for the cancellation I made 20 days prior to the schedostay but neither Hawthorne Suites, Booking.com or American Express would refund my non-used hotel stay! They stole my $255.59 for nothing but gutted my feeling quite badly!!! I will never use Booking.com any more. I will report to the BBB for sure!

Negatives:
The pictures hanging in the rooms SHOULD NOT HAVE GLASS!!! Especially one in the kitchen!!! They should also be MORE SECURED to the walls!!!! They fall off easily!!!! First room we got into was NOT CLEAN!!! Second room, we found a crack pipe!!!!! Also, with rooms having a kitchen to use, there should be cooking dishes and utensils to use as well!!!!

The staff was friendly upon check in.

The facilities was dated, with a musty odor noted in the hallways. There was clutter noted behind the check-in desk and adjacent hallway. The room had potential, but needed some upgrades to the flooring/carpet. The room had a distinct musty odor and a smell of garbage upon entering. Further examination of the room was made and I believe the odor was actually coming from outside, possibly from an outside dumpster. The odor did dissipate later in the day upon my return from a wedding.

Had to ask for blankets and they gave me one with cigarette holes in it. Went to front desk, employee didn't speak English. Kitchen was filthy. Had to ask for coffee for the coffeemaker in the room. Was a regular sized pot and single use pods. Just a crappy place. Loved the stripped car that is in the parking lot. Wish i took a picture. This place is horrible, don't waste your money.
