The kitchenette is very helpful to have on my stays there, it is well stocked with needs for guests using what it provides, and I appreciate the room layout with sofa, desk and television in good locations.
Negatives:
Construction was going on during this visit and the hallways were a mess. Walls were covered with patch spots for repair or paint prep, and carpeting had been torn out. Workers were pounding, drilling and doing repairs of all sorts, filling the air with dust as I went out to take the elevator. The noise caused dogs in adjacent rooms to bark more. They worked quickly, there was much improvement over the few days I was there and I appreciated that. The bill at the end of stay should have been at least partially discounted under these circumstances. But overall, this is a very good hotel.

I requested a room FAR from the elevator. I went up and the room he gave was right beside elevator!!! First room! After I went back down the reception did move me. But didn’t apologize for wasting my time or having me lug my luggage up and down for no reason. Small issue but big inconvenience after a 7 hr journey.

The room was big for the price, clean, and very nice. A full kitchen, desk for me to work at, and very large bathroom. While I do appreciate the TV channels printed out for me to know what to punch in, I would've preferred to be able to hit Guide on the remote to see what was on on each channel but that's a minor gripe. Food and a grocery store are easily within walking distance and in a fairly well lit area so I didn't feel unsafe at all! Breakfast was phenomenal for the price! I'm used to cereal, bland eggs, and some fruit, but being able to add to my omelette and get a full waffle was really nice. I just wish there was more protein options as I don't really like breakfast sausage but I know most people do so I can't complain there.
Negatives:
There was a very loud and semi-inconsistent tapping above my kitchen/bathroom. I couldn't tell if it was an upstairs guest or something within the walls. I wouldn't have mentioned it had it not woken me up at 3 in the morning. I also noticed that while the bathroom was very large, the space was poorly used. The bathtub was pitifully small compared to the amount of negative space in the bathroom. I understand that's not something that could be fixed quickly, but it felt like 75% of the bathroom was just empty space and if you're gonna have that much negative space, why not fill it with a larger shower/tub? My only staff complaint was the girl working the desk was not super friendly. I'm not expecting enthusiasm about my travels or thoughts, but a little more than a disingenuous "Really?" To my comments would've been nice. Engage with your guests and you encourage them to come back.

It was clean and everyone was very friendly and understanding. I stayed with my two dogs and they was all very understanding about them. Even my family was welcome to come see me there! We all had a great time.
