Positives:
Comfortable stay. Room was very clean. Staff were friendly. No extra charge for pets. Plenty of parking.
Negatives:
Stairs going up to second floor rooms were old and very worn. However as it is a motel, weather plays an impact and can be unavoidable, but appears to be time to start addressing the issue. Security latch on door was broken off so additional lock beyond deadbolt to keep someone with a key (housekeeping) entering the room without permission was not possible if an attempt were to be made.

Cold water was never cold. The room needed a thorough dusting and floor cleaning. There were dust bunnies and dead bug in a corner. Definitely not a deal breaker though

The drain would not stay open in the shower, I had to jam a coffee cup between the tub and drain plug to keep it raised for the water to drain and take a shower. The towels had particles stuck within the fibers as well as stains. The mattress was very thin and you could easily feel the hard wood box underneath. The remote control for the very small large TV was a generic universal remote that did not have any working functions making the TV unwatchable. Not well insulated from noise as I could hear people walking up steps outside my room (the actual walking), I could hear people talking and walking outside the room all the way down to the other side and even in the parking lot. That was all with the air conditioner running. And lastly the air conditioner was due to have its filter cleaned via the filter light when I was present and it rattled significantly.
