Negatives:
On the night I stayed there, there was a strong scent (meets you at the door) that smelled like men’s cologne throughout the hotel, including in my room. I am sensitive to strong fragrances, and it was bad enough that I got a headache. I can appreciate wanting the place to smell nice, but it was way overkill.
Some of the furniture in my room, especially the coffee table, was in pretty rough shape for a room that otherwise looked recently renovated.

Positives:
The hotel was clean inside and outside. The room was bright, and the beds were comfortable. A large selection of items for breakfast.
Negatives:
On entering the room, we immediately noticed a broken lamp shade between the beds. Later, when we turned on the TV, we discovered the remote was not synced. It had the default on, off, and volume. Nothing else on the remote worked.
These negative items did not take away from a pleasant stay at a nice hotel, but the little details are the difference from a better rating.
