The close location to where we had to be and the quick access to highway for food etc

I did not like the breakfast situation. We had breakfast vouchers and waitress took quite a while to get to us and then once order was placed sat for an hour for our food and then my daughter and her friend ordered apple juice and it didn’t come until they were done with their meal. My sister and I came down at 8:45 and never once did the waitress come and ask if we needed anything nor did she check on the other guests who had already ordered hence why we never got our juice until my brother in law physically got up and went and got it. Very disappointed. Had to go and spend my money on food elsewhere.

Location. Restaurant food was really good and staff was pleasant along with helpful.

Hotel needs a good cleaning outside. The room was ok but looked dated.

Positives:
I saw improvements since my last visit. the hotel was clean and the smell of mold/mildew had diminished (but was not eliminated). The parking was plentiful. All seemed to be in working order. It was rated 2 to 3 stars and it met that goal.
Negatives:
The entrance was cluttered with a "handwritten" sign to use key after hours. I had no key, because I was checking in... This sends a message that the area was dangerous to us tourist.---THE PARKING LOT WAS FILTHY, RAGGEDY WTH POTHOLDS AND TRASH.

Staff was amazingly nice and cut couch for doggie was very welcome. Found one dog hair on bed but oh well.

Pool was green. Like neon green water. I was too freaked out to get in. Doors to pool room were cracked and rusted so bad the pool door wouldn't open. Like a literal tetanus warning kind of situation.

It was in a good location. The rooms were clean and nice.
Negatives:
We did not get a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower which is the room we reserved. My son could not get into the bathroom in his wheelchair. The front desk was not willing to be accommodating in anyway.
