Negatives: This is the second year I have stayed for Christmas. Both years the pool and hot tub were not working.

Negatives: Carpet in my room had black grease all over it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Not enough lighting in the bathroom, just one small light. No one would answer the phone when I called to book the room. So I had to go through a third-party. I have AAA and wanted to use my discount. I was told I couldn’t because I went through a third-party and the room was already paid for through the third-party. Considering everything else, my room was a good size and the hotel is in a good location.

Negatives: There needs to be more information in the room about how to get the guide on the TV to work. Simply giving a list of channels isn't helpful enough.

Negatives: The pool was closed which was one HUGE reason we booked this hotel. I had no idea it was closed, had been closed for a while, and would continue to be closed. We wanted to take our son to swim in the pool. He's 2. Got him into his swim gear, made it down there, only to have to tell him no. He was SO SAD. The food was good, better than most hotels. However, the pancake machine was broken - again, the one thing I wanted for my son aside from the eggs. He loves pancakes. The carpet in our room was crunchy and dirty. Clearly hadn't been vacuumed recently. The bathroom door was hung incorrectly so it was lopsided and hard to close. There was a ticking all night/morning from behind the fridge that sounded like a kitchen timer about to ding. The mattress was possibly the hardest bed I've ever stayed in at a hotel.
