Verified Hotel Guest Family with Young Children July 7, 2021
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Breakfast not as advertised - no hot buffet. The room was dirty - dirt in shower, ants in the room. We asked for room service 2x but it wasnÂ't until we talked to a cleaning staff member directly on our third day there that we got our room cleaned.

Positives: Location
Negatives: Heater didnÂ't work and the room was very cold, couldnÂ't sleep and had my 16 month old son with me.

Negatives: Horrible beds- very old

Positives: Friendly staff, spacious pleasant room
Negatives: They didn't have a remote check-in option in place. During Covid I would have liked to have a contact-free check-in option. That said, they had social distancing guidelines that were certainly adhered to. Other than that it was perfect.

Positives: Comfortable bed, clean room, great staff.
Negatives: No, but we do look forward to the return of a hot breakfast post-pandemic. That being said, their grab-and-go breakfast is much better than most these days.

Positives: The grounds (especially the flowers) are lovely. The pool is excellent. The free breakfast is very nice. Best of all, we liked the hourly shuttle that takes guests to and from the Shakespeare Festival downtown, obviating the need to drive and find parking in a very crowded city. The staff was uniformly cheerful and helpful.
Negatives: The hotel is situated on a busy street with other hotels and gas stations, which makes things a little noisier than they would otherwise be. I've never been delighted with motel rooms that open directly to the outdoors, but that has nothing to do with this particular motel. I thought the placement of the coffee maker next to the bathroom sink was odd.
Review
For someone visiting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival on a budget, this hotel is perfect.
