The food at the restaurant next door was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the breakfast vouchers were for that restaurant.
We didn't realize the number of trains traveling through on the tracks between the hotel and the river, but we loved the sounds of the trains and horns as they went by. Earplugs were provided if the sounds bothered anyone but we didn't need them.
Perfect distance from the many waterfalls where we went hiking.
Negatives:
The room was a little pricey but worth it for the convenience to hiking trails and good food!

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and the inn was conveniently located at the edge of town near the restaurants and actives. And there is ample parking.
Negatives:
The price was much too high for this modest Best Western Inn. It seems to me that Best Western is using an algorithm that adjusts price to rise with demand and decrease with reduction in demand. The gorgeous Skamania Lodge with it's soaring log/timber walls and stone fireplaces was the same price as the Best Western Inn. And as I write this, the Best Western is currently half the price. So when you book a room in Cascadia Locks, beware of price manipulation.
