The room impression overall was run down - smelly room, curtains dirty from dead insects, worn-out carpet (I guess that's why they assigned it for "pet friendly" ), the fridge made a loud humming noise all through the night, the bathtub faucet was leaking and dripping loudly all through the night, the TV stopped working after 20 minutes and the air condition unit outside was broken (someone must have backed into it and nobody had fixed it). I had the window open to get fresh air in but was one room away from very busy street.

It's shame I paid over $200 for this room plus $20 extra for my dog!
Positives:
Excellent variety for the breakfast, great coffee, and staff kept cooked food warm and stocked. Staff in breakfast area was friendly and courteous. There are plenty of eating tables, large and small.

The location of this Best Western is wonderful. Close to downtown, lots of parking, ice machine close to the room.

There was a puddle of urine on the bathroom floor and the shower was so dirty that it didn’t look sanitary enough to shower in it. Very expensive for such poor quality.

Location was sandwiched between hwy 101 north and south extremely loud all night. Room smelled like pot. Pool was nice and staff was friendly. Location would not be recommended!

Comfy bed, great pillows, and they gave us plenty for each bed. It was quite as well and breakfast was ok, but fewer options that the BW we stayed at the previous night. Consistency would be really nice.
Negatives:
Kinda dingy, floors not clean, grout was nasty, price way too high for the low quality. Toilet only flushed water, but could not pull the TP down with it. The BW i stayed at in CA 2 months prior was far superior for the same price. I was put on 2nd floor when I specifically requested dog friendly room. Had to carry both dogs because they are afraid of stairs with no back (kickplate) so they can see thru. Other guests did not clean up after their pets and clearly the hotel doesn't do it either. we always clean up after our pets.

The room was amazingly clean. The ladies at desk where very friendly and the lady being trained let me know of places to eat. I had a better night's rest at your Hotel on Sunday night 8/17/2025 in Coos Bay, Oregon then I did in Gold Beach, Oregon at the stupid Motel 6 Friday on 8/15/2025 & 8/16/2025.
I will be staying at your motel again in the future.
