Sketchy people working here now, people in and out of rms as if something was going on. Street people in and out. Woke up this morning and a homeless person was staying under stairs.
Unknown person at my door st 10 pm last night. Alerted office said they would look at cameras, never heard a thing.

The family who run the motel are the best. Our son played with their son and they were really helpful and kind.
The room and grounds were exceptionally clean. We were there in winter so the pool was closed.
A great location, walking distance to shops. Short drive to the dines and attractions.

It was convenient and not terribly overpriced.
Negatives:
The housekeeping staff appeared to still be cleaning rooms when we arrived which was late but I assume that was probably due to the holiday and having less staff. Also all the lights were very bright "cool white" which is great for some parts of the room but way too intense and blinding for others - adding a couple of "warm" light bulbs would greatly improve the ambiance in the room.

My room had a thermostat that had no numbers to let one know how to set the room temperature. The room key only was set for one night although we had the room for two nights. So we had to track down staff to get it reset. There was very little or no breakfast although it was advertised.

There was a broken down vehicle in the parking lot that looked like it had been there for quite a while with someone living in it. The pool was closed down from the county. The bathroom sink was clogged and seemed to have trouble draining. The refrigerator shelves were broken.
