Was very pleasant to stay there.
Positives:
Breakfast was good. One suggestion would be to have two breakfasts set-ups that mirror each other. The volume of people getting breakfast at one time was a lot. One lady was making waffles for her entire family of about 6. We didn't want waffles, but it created a wait for a lot of other families, especially those with small children who are hungry. The selection was good, just very overcrowded. We like bacon better than sausage, just a suggestion.
Negatives:
All people need to understand this is a pet friendly location. I know some people do not like dogs due to their religious beliefs. However, when a kid passes us in the hall and says, "I will kill your dog." I feel like they need to make other choices as to where they stay. The farther didn't even address the remark. He looked at us as if he were thinking the same thing. We didn't say anything. We just kept walking and got on the elevator.

If you want a good nights sleep request a third floor room. Both nights we had folks above us and the noise was not tolerable for sleep. The second night I complained at 9pm because it sounded like children running and jumping ….very loud! The receptionist was very nice and notified the guests and they quieted down. The insulation between floors is the fault… otherwise good stay.

The property was clean and very modern. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing! It is super close to the aquarium and the bayfront with the big boats and docks. All of the awesome amenities were available, we didn’t have an issue with anything being broken or old. Everything was perfect for our stay. Very awesome value! We will stay here when we come to Newport. That way we know for sure we are getting a great deal!

I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like about the property except you need those wheel cart things to help disabled guests with their baggage. Something to put luggage on to make it easier to get to your room with stuff.

Inside our room had water damage to the bathroom door frame and the frame was also splintered. The bathroom also only had a landlord special patch on the wall.

Decent but not worth the price
Positives:
The staff were all very cordial and well informed , they went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was good. The dog area was well maintained and easy accessible. Dog treats were provided. The rooms are clean and we had plenty of space.
Negatives:
The 'pup bags' were very fragile and actually ruptured when cleaning up after our dog
