The pool wasn't open and I understand short staff but it was 110°so it would have been nice to swim. The shower ceiling was short so a tall person would have trouble in there luckily I'm 5'7 and could fit ok

The building is old and has the "old" smell to it. Right off the bat, we couldn't get into our room because the card mechanisms weren't working. Finally after all the staff members failed to open the room, I was given a different room.

for the most part, the bedding seemed clean and the beds were comfortable.
Negatives:
the room was very dirty and very hot when we got there. the air conditioning once it was turned on did help some. the surfaces were covered in dust, the ice bucket was full of water, and there was an old bar of soap in the shower. we also saw what looked like splattered blood on the outer edge of the bath tub and when we pulled the bedding down, there were more blood looking stains on the duvet (did not look like it was run through the wash). No coffee and tea making facilities either.
