I wish I could have...
Positives:
I was allocated a quiet room as requested, and allowed to check in early after flying from Australia via Vancouver, Canada. A beer garden with many food vans is conveniently located close by, including the famous Tokyo Sando (Sandwich) van. The Saturday Market and Voodoo Doughnut shop are within a short walk of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed.
Negatives:
I wasn't told at check in that a deposit of $50 a night would be held until my departure so I had to ask Reception about it when I noticed it. Sadly there are a lot of homeless people in the area, but they never bothered me.

Recommended Downtown Portland Hotel

The room was very comfortable and clean, thank you!

the location is "meh" but then again, it's downtown Portland. it served it's purpose and the room was very nice, the rate was great, it's hard to complain! We did NOT pay for valet parking. The parking offered was super expensive. We found parking 1/2 block away. It was a tad sketchy, but we got lucky and our cars were unscathed. And it was only $4.00 for 48 hours.

Overall, it was a great visit. I did have a problem with the hot water and called for help. They must’ve done something while I was away because I did have hot water. I appreciated the resolution.

The staff was great however we reserved a 2 queen room and got a king room with a pull out bed. The second bed was for my son who is not a small person. The pull out bed was not comfortable. There is no microwave in the room. When we asked they told use we had to request it when we made the reservation. It's my fault for not reading the small print. Just not the best stay.
