I was staying at the same brand ( La Quinta) at Santa Rosa the night before that was quite new and clean.
I stayed in this hotel in Portland with the assumption that all La Quintas were the same but it was not unfortunately.
You need to be reassured before booking whether it’s a new building or not!!

It was okay, the bed...

The hotel absolutely met my expectations: yummy breakfast, location was very decent if you have a car everything is a fairly reasonable drive, room was clean and nicely set up, staff was very polite and helpful, totally recommend.

Only thing that bothered me was carpeted rooms.. Which is the case for most hotels, but once they learn to stop putting carpet in there, will be a huge improvement!

The Pool and hot tub area was wonderful. The breakfast options was wonderful and honestly better than I assumed. EVERY single staff member was absolutely wonderful.

The area seemed out of the way and the rooms seemed to be a bit dark, we had the 1st floor which is actually down a flight of stairs from the lobby.
